Meijer Garden - Part 2

At the farmhouse, Zeke, Eli and Madeline got to make a potato to go on a quilt.  Kids who came through the exhibit got to help with these quilts that would be going into the new hospital that is being built.

I love how Madeline pays very close attention while she is cutting with sharp scissors.

After they made their potato, they pinned it on the quilt and then wrote their name somewhere on it.

There is also a huge glass exhibit going on right now.  Which Andrew loved since he is a glassblower (in case you didn't know).

This horse is also a huge part of the gardens.  It doesn't look as big in this picture because Andrew and Madeline are pretty far in front of it.  But, I could walk under his raised hoof there.

There was a huge open field next to the horse that Madeline and Zeke had fun playing in.

Oliver's not quite sure what happened here.

There were glass exhibits everywhere.  It was pretty cool.

This sleepy guy missed his afternoon nap because he fought it so hard.  I think he actually fell asleep for about 30 seconds and then was done with that.   He was a trooper though.
And that concludes our posts on Michigan. :)
