Overheard At My House...Easter Edition
First of all, Happy Easter to everyone.
Tonight while we were putting Madeline to bed, we asked her, "Why do we celebrate Easter?" She surprisingly answered, "Jesus died on the cross." I said, "That right! And what happened special on Easter?" She excitedly replied, "Candy!" Although that is what happened on her Easter day. I was looking for the answer, "Jesus rose from the dead." Maybe next year :)
