Christmas Eve
For the first year, we headed to the Christmas Eve service at church on Christmas Eve. We are usually out of town. But, we decided to stay home this year so that the kids can be at home on Christmas morning. It was a really nice service and I am so glad we went despite all the the wrapping and packing that still needed to be done that night. After bath time, the kids got to open their Christmas jammies. And Madeline helped wrap a few of the presents that she had picked out for Oliver and me.
We read the Christmas story together and then got a few Christmas jammie pictures before bedtime.

What is it about Christmas Jammies that make the season special?? I love the boys in theirs...all decked out with snowmen and candy canes!
We didn't see you guys at the service...we were all the way in the back in case I needed to escape. :)
Ha! Oliver's are the jammies we got Caedmon. Ansley's had the monkey and dots like Madeline's but were the style of the boys'. So funny!! Glad ya'll were able to be home Christmas morning--we've made that a priority since kids and really enjoy it!! Hope ya'll are doing well...we'd love to see you soon!
I love all of Madeline's cheesey faces in these pics! Looks like she wasn't camera-shy that time around!
