Three Months Old

Can you believe it? Madeline is already 3 months old. Where does the time go? Not only is she getting older, but she is learning so many new things. She is getting pretty good at grabbing and holding things. We have a problem now with her making out with all her stuffed animals. As soon as she can grab them, they go straight into her mouth. :)

Here she is demonstrating her grabbing/holding skills.

She also loves TV. She loves to see all the colors and movement on it. So here we are chilling out on the couch and watching a little TV.

She studies things very intently. She is very observant of the world around her. She always wants to sit up so she can see what's going on.

Some other things she is doing:
She sleeps pretty well. Last night she did an 8 1/2 hour stretch. I had to give her her pacifier a couple times. But, I didn't have to feed her. She still needs to be swaddled. I am not sure when that will end. I need to go buy our third swaddler because the velcro is wearing out again and she can escape it. She smiles all the time. (It is big, gummy and really cute:)) Especially when her dad plays his two games with her, "blast off" and "timber". (You can ask Andrew for a demonstration if you want.) She is on the verge of giggling. She has rolled from her stomach to her back 5 or 6 times. Unfortunately, she will never do it for the camera. She has rolled from her back to her stomach twice. But she was on a small foam mat that helped her get all the way over. She is pretty good at getting up on her side though. She loves to suck on her fists and can sometimes get both of them in her mouth at the same time. She still loves her bath time and is starting to splash a little in the water. She is talking a lot as well. She can say a very expressive "oouh" and she is throwing in a few consonants like "g" and "m". The other night, she talked to me for about 10 minutes while she was supposed to be going to sleep :) It is so much fun to watch her learn. One day she won't be able to do something and then the next day she can. I am having a blast being a stay at home mom. I wouldn't trade it for anything!
