6 Weeks Old
It is so hard to believe that it has already been 6 weeks since Madeline was born. Time is already flying by. I remember sitting in her room and rocking her when she turned one week old. I just cried and cried. (Partly due to all the hormones that were going crazy after giving birth) Andrew walked in and saw me crying and all I could do was point to the clock and say "She's a week old".
It is so amazing to watch her grow. She is changing so much. She is usually a very happy girl. She loves to be on her changing table. That is where she "talks" and smiles the most. She loves her baths. And she loves to sit up like a big girl so she can see what is going on. She sleeps pretty well. I only have to wake up once a night to feed her. When it is time to go to bed, we swaddle her up and then lay her in her bed and she will usually drift off to sleep (as long as she has her pacifier).
Since she is growing up so quickly, we figured we should document this time in her life. So, we went to Sear's today and had her pictures made. I have to say, that I really liked Sear's. The lady that we worked with us was really great. We actually spent 3 1/2 hours there! So, here are some of the pictures that we got.

wow she is getting old. I think you better go ahead and figure out a plan for when the boys start showing up. I recommend buying a weapon.
Seriously though - She looks awesome and I love the pictures. I think Andrew should pull her around when he runs the triathlon.
oh my goodness! What a cutie pie! She is getting so big, and looks every bit of her six weeks. She is beautiful and sounds like a charming, sweet, and easy baby girl. We love each of you!

I looove the pics - the first one is so sweet! I just really, REALLY want to squeeze her and sniff her! (c: You know what I mean! I really can't believe it's been 6 weeks! I guess it's okay that she's growing up though... the sooner she gets to be a big girl, the closer we will probably be to starting our litter!
Wow, how cute are those pictures? We like Sears, too! I love that last picture...there is something classic about the look on her face, a look that reminds me of one that Kathryn did (and still does sometimes!). Can't wait to see you all in a few days!
