Water Painting

I have recently discovered that our baby monitors work outside in our parking lot.  So, Madeline and I have been playing outside a little bit while Oliver takes his nap.  Yesterday we enjoyed a little water painting.

Nothing better to beat the heat than water.  (Somehow she snuck that paci out without me noticing.)    

I kinda like my crazy haired, baggy pants wearin' guy.   Madeline kept trying to give him eyes with more water.  

Did you notice the shoes, mom?  She even put them on without a fuss and wanted to call you to tell you she wore them.  For everyone else,  Madeline only wants to wear her rain boots.  So, this is a big day.    

Water painting turned into soup making.  

It was yummy!

And soup making turned into puddle filling.  Madeline loves puddles.  She was so excited the other day when it was raining and said, "Do you know what rain means?  Puddles!!!!"  I guess that is why she loves her rain boots so much.  

And then... Oliver woke up and we went back inside.  The End
