Overheard At My House

A friend of mine does "Overheard at my house" over at her blog. And I think it is so fun to read. So, I thought I would start my own. I hope you don't mind Sara-Beth?! (It's kind of like a blog carnival.)

Today at Michael's, I was probably out much later than I should have been. It was definitely Madeline's nap time. So, she was whining a little bit. So, I said, "Madeline, please stop whining or we will go home and take a nap right now." She responded with, "I'm not whining, mommy! I'm just making funny noises." How did she get to be so smart for her own good?

I agree, I've been very tempted to do an "overheard at my house" like Sara-Beth's. Maybe we can get her to start an official blog carnival!

Well, I have to say I am so honored to be mentioned and giddy with anticipation to hear what's being
said at your house (and Laurie's!) more. As for a blog carnival.... HA! I can't even keep up with my own blog enough. But someone should... that's a brilliant idea!

P.s. - I usually read your blog on my reader, but just had to come over to comment and I LOVE the (new?) header. SO cute.
